As the Information Services Manager for Enterprise Output Management (EOM) within Enterprise Capabilities, you will lead the teams and platforms responsible for delivering business‑critical customer communications across the organization. These communications span policies, statements, checks, notices, and other regulated content that directly represent our brand, compliance posture, and customer trust.
This role blends people leadership, delivery execution, and platform stewardship. You will guide modernization efforts, ensure operational stability, and help the organization navigate competing priorities across a complex and highly interconnected landscape.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
In this role, you will lead and evolve enterprise output capabilities that support the majority of products and business processes across Mutual of Omaha. You will operate in an environment that balances legacy platforms with active modernization and large‑scale change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop high-performing teams responsible for enterprise document composition, print, and digital communications, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership, guiding the reliability, modernization, and long-term evolution of critical output platforms and services.
- Drive large-scale transformation initiatives, including platform rationalization, coexistence strategies, and complex cutovers, enabling the organization to transition to modern, scalable architectures.
- Partner closely with business leaders, architects, compliance, and risk stakeholders to align technology strategy with regulatory, operational, and customer experience objectives.
- Oversee strategic vendor relationships, contracts, and delivery outcomes to ensure value realization, service quality, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Proactively identify and manage technical, operational, and organizational risks and dependencies, enabling informed decision-making and program success.
- Balance long-term architectural vision with practical constraints such as funding, risk tolerance, and operational stability to drive sustainable progress.
- Establish clear expectations, elevate performance standards, and actively coach associates to close skill gaps, strengthen capabilities, and grow into expanded leadership responsibilities.

Leadership & Management Capabilities
- Proven leader with a strong track record of building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams, including performance management and coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically prioritize and balance run, change, and transformation initiatives to deliver business value.
- Skilled at building trust, alignment, and collaboration across diverse stakeholders and leadership levels.
- Experienced in vendor and contract management, with strong oversight of financial and delivery considerations.
Delivery & Execution Experience
- Experience leading or supporting large‑scale modernization or platform migration efforts
- Strong risk and dependency management skills
- Pragmatic application of agile principles in complex, non‑greenfield environments
- Focus on operational excellence while delivering change
Domain & Technical Understanding
- Familiarity and experience of enterprise customer communications in the financial services and their regulatory sensitivity
- Familiarity and experience with document composition, print, and electronic delivery ecosystems
- Technical experience across the modern technology stack, including Java,MuleSoft, and modern technical stack with a strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, API development, system integrations, and cloud-native design. Proficient in building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, leveraging microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and integration platforms to enable seamless connectivity across enterprise systems and digital services. Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that align with business and technology strategy.
- Experience or familiarity with Documerge,xPression and Quadient is preferred to direct strategic decision framework
- Ability to evaluate platform overlap, technical debt, and long‑term viability
- Experience planning and executing phased cutovers and coexistence strategies
