About the Position:  Part Time Massage Therapist

Responsibilities for Massage Therapist

• Providing massage services in a clean and comfortable setting
• Discuss clients needs, preferences, goals, and asses contraindications before treatment
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and massage techniques to tailor each session.
• Support Clients recovery and long term well-being through individualized massage care
• Discuss and recommend appropriate massage upgrades, service and packages based on clients needs and goals
• Build lasting client relationships and encourage consistent care through rebooking
• Help clients learn about club and wellness services
• Continue developing professional skills and maintain current credentials
• Keep Treatment rooms clean and prepared between appointments and at the end of the shift
• Welcome and escort clients to and from treatment rooms
• Arrive on time, and follow the agreed-upon work schedule
• Follow all company policy and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect client confidentiality and company assets
• Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors 

Preferred Qualifications:

• CAMTC Certification or SF City License 
• Strong knowledge of anatomy
• Proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, sports and prenatal massage
• An understanding of the importance of exercise, movement and recovery in supporting longevity and long-term well-being
• Strong communication , interpersonal and customer service skills 
• Basic computer skills
• Dependability, punctuality and professionalism
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends 

Compensation:

• Base pay $45-$65 per hour depending on qualifications
• Available pay may be available for modality, location and massage duration
