Become a Principal Manager, Employee Communications at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll you will support the company's vision and corporate goals by developing and implementing an integrated employee communications strategy. You will lead a team to create and deliver effective communications that inform, educate and engage employees across various channels. Your responsibilities include establishing consistency in the company narrative through creative storytelling, implement comprehensive employee communications plan, measuring content impact using data analytics, and overseeing content quality, budgets, and project plans. Additionally, you will serve as PIO during Incident Management Team activations and be on call after hours.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
Seven or more years of experience in corporate communications within a corporate, government and/or agency environment.
Five or more years of experience developing and implementing internal communications.
Experience managing all employee events.
Strong planner and organizer with superior project management skills.
Strategic problem solver with attention to tactical execution and detail.
Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
Strong business judgment, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact with all company levels, maintaining tact and diplomacy.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of internal and external communications methodologies and tools.
Agile, with a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects.

Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
