Resource & Referral - Program Coordinator
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Strategic Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) Program Coordinator that is primarily responsible for implementing the activities of the UPK project of Crystal Stairs, Inc. in partnership with the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles (CCALA). CCALA is a partnership of 10 community-based Resource and Referral (R&R) and Alternative Payment (AP) organizations working together to ensure the delivery of seamless, consistent, and quality early learning and care throughout Los Angeles County. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the UPK Liaison will be responsible for compliance with related fiscal and programmatic requirements within and between Crystal Stairs, Inc. and partner agencies and organizations.
The ideal candidate will also have the following responsibilities:
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited college or university in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related Human/Social Services field; relevant work experience in human/social services or child development may be substituted for college level education; Master's degree a plus.
Minimum of two to three years' of supervisory experience and project management experience is required.
Minimum of two to three years related experience in the Los Angeles child care delivery system and child care provider population including approaches, challenges, and issues.
Experience and ability to work with adult learners and diverse client populations.
Experience planning, implementing, and coordinating major projects and trainings that require collaboration with diverse groups and coordination of their interests and resources.
