This oceanfront, all-suite hotel reopened in July 2019 after undergoing a $35 Million complete transformation, and we are now seeking motivated, enthusiastic professionals to become integral members of our team.
As the Engineer Manager, you are responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance, completing equipment repairs to keep the property operating, and addressing problems as they are discovered before they worsen. You will use your four-plus years to lead the maintenance and repair program of a four-star or five-star hotel. Your day-to-day work focuses on common maintenance issues, including but not limited to fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring and inspecting the building to confirm safety standards.
You strongly desire a clean and safe environment for our guests and employees. Your natural disposition toward personal and public safety, operating from a place of integrity, honesty, and ethics, supports our efforts to keep the hotel ranked as the premier luxury hotel in Los Angeles.
Your friendly, efficient, and high-touch approach is perfect for engaging with guests and team members. You appropriately address maintenance concerns and promptly escalate issues. Still, you can maintain and enforce company standards regarding operational processes and procedures related to the hotel’s maintenance program.
You will work a full-time hospitality schedule defined by operational needs, including weekends and holidays.
Willing to conform to hotel dress and grooming standards, which include wearing the hotel-issued uniform, no visible tattoos while wearing a uniform, no unnatural hair colors, no piercings other than one pair of earrings, and neatly groomed facial hair.
