SUMMARY
York County Community College (YCCC), a proud institution with a 30-year legacy of transforming lives and communities throughout York County, Maine, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Faculty member to join our team full-time. Reporting to the Dean of Education, this position is pivotal to the continued growth and excellence of YCCC’s nursing education programs.
The Nurse Faculty member will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing education, developing curriculum, and fostering clinical partnerships that ensure students are well-prepared to meet the demands of today’s healthcare environment. This role involves teaching and supervising students in didactic, lab, and clinical settings, with a strong emphasis on student engagement, evidence-based practice, and academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will be student-focused, clinically experienced, and passionate about nursing education. Faculty at YCCC are expected to implement effective teaching strategies, assess student learning outcomes, and provide academic advising and support. New faculty transitioning from clinical practice to academia will receive mentorship and professional development to support their transition into the classroom.
